Honest Reviews. Real Insights. Smart Tech Choices.
We're excited to roll out a new feature on True Tech Finds: our interactive **Phone Comparison Tool (VS Tool)**! We know how confusing it can be to keep track of specs across multiple device generations, especially when deciding between a flagship from last year and a mid-range contender from this year.
This tool is designed to cut through the noise, offering you a fast, clean, side-by-side view of the most important specifications for iconic devices spanning nearly a decade.
The VS Tool is designed for instant clarity. You simply select two phones from the filterable dropdown lists—Phone A and Phone B.
The list is packed with over 30 key devices, from historic flagships like the **iPhone 6s (2015)** to the latest releases and even conceptual models like the **Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra (2025)**.
The comparison table instantly populates, listing critical metrics such as:
It’s the fastest way to see where manufacturers are making advancements and where they choose to hold back.
While we designed this tool to be incredibly fast and easy to use, we believe in radical transparency. The single-file nature of this tool, which is what makes it load so quickly, imposes necessary **limitations** that you need to be aware of:
You asked us to include every phone from 2020-2025. Unfortunately, that's impossible. A single HTML file can only store so much data. This tool currently contains only the **most iconic and relevant flagship and mid-range devices** from major brands (Apple, Samsung, Google, OnePlus, etc.). It cannot hold the hundreds of thousands of models released globally. If you can't find a very niche model, this is the reason!
Because this tool operates without a server or database connection (it’s a single, self-contained file), the data is **not updated in real-time**. Prices, in particular, are often based on initial launch pricing or generalized market value and can become outdated quickly due to sales, carrier deals, or market depreciation. Always double-check current pricing and availability before making a purchase decision.
The comparison focuses on the **major specification categories**. We can tell you a phone has a "200MP Wide Camera," but we can't provide the minute details like the specific sensor model (e.g., Sony IMX989 vs. Samsung HP2), detailed video codecs, or color gamut percentages. For those deep dives, you'll still need to refer to our dedicated full reviews.
Despite these constraints, the VS Tool achieves our primary goal: **providing instant, high-level, and accurate comparison points** for the most important phones in the market. It's built for speed and simplicity.
Give it a try—compare the **iPhone 17 Pro Max** against the **Pixel 9** to see the future of mobile, or pit the **Galaxy S22 Ultra** against the **S24 Ultra** to understand two years of evolution!
